FiFA Soccer 13 hit the shelves five days ago and it’s already sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide on all platforms.

According to EA sports, the game sold more than 1.23 million copies during the first 48 hours in the UK, and is the No. 1 selling game in about 40 countries. As a result of the excellent sales, EA Sports says that the game has claimed the title of “biggest videogame launch of 2012″ and “biggest sports videogame launch of all-time”.

Andrew Wilson, Executive Vice President of EA Sports commented, “‘FIFA Soccer 13′ is a critical and commercial success unprecedented in sports entertainment. …Every minute of every day millions of fans around the world are experiencing what the critics have already said — ‘FIFA Soccer 13′ is the biggest and best sports game we have ever created.”

FIFA Soccer 13 is currently available on the PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, Wii, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, PSP, PC and will be available on the Wii U. Will you be checking out FIFA Soccer 13?
