A games retailer in Europe has shown up a listing for the game Rayman Origins 2, claiming that it will released next year on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. TheSixthAxis were the first party to spot it, and Ubisoft have not had anything to say of it.
Back in April, the first signs of a sequel to Rayman Origins were speculated in the form of screenshots from what appeared to be screenshots leaked online. It fueled a huge stir, and fans have been eagerly waiting for more news ever since.
CVG gave a good insight into the game in its review, saying “You simply won’t find a better-crafted example of the old-fashioned art of platform gaming than Rayman Origins - it’s up there with the finest of Miyamoto’s creations”.
The news comes just as that of the game’s Wii U version having confirmed to be delayed from November until early next year.
