NPD research carried out show that around 1.82 million copies of Borderlands 2 were sold within its first month of availability. It is a title developed by 2K Games, and has so far equated to its high expectations made.

Anita Frazier, an analyst, said this sequel “exceeded the first month’s unit sales of the first game which launched in October 2009 by 234 percent.” Bear in mind that is a staggering ascent by the stretch of any franchise.

On a general front, software sales of September were on a 39 percent dip when compared with that of last year.
