A new record has been set in terms of basketball video games - that of NBA 2K13 becoming the fastest selling of all time. It has been reported that there’s bee a 49 percent increase from sales of the 2K11 version.
2K Sports‘ vice president of marketing, Jason Argent, found it hard to hide his delight said “Our early sales figures are a validation of our ongoing efforts to push this franchise to new heights. We owe it to our great fans to continually improve our title - year in and year out - and that’s exactly what we’ve done with NBA 2K13.”
This follows last month’s breaking that NBA Live 13, a proposed rival for NBA 2K13, had been cancelled at the last minute by EA.
