Call of Duty Elite for Activision’s cover title is to be made available be free, which rules out any perceptions of elitism within within for the service from now on. It is to come into effect with the release of Black Ops 2.

What that means in terms of DLC packages is that additional content is purchased from a Black Ops 2 DLC “Season Pass”. It is available for a price of 4000 Microsoft Points, and will come with four extra map packs.

They will all be phased out through the course of next year. Individually, they can also be bought for 1200 Microsoft Points.
