The retail price for the Nintendo Wii in the US has been slashed by Nintendo down to $129.99. It is a bundle that includes the console with Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuk controller, along with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.
According to Nintendo, the deal will be made available from October 28th. It is to serve as the flagship package of the black Wii, replacing that of the New Super Mario Bros package, which costs $149.99.
Nintendo America’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, Scott Moffitt, said “Nearly six years after it launched, people are still attracted to the pure, inclusive fun of the Wii console. A new suggested retail price and the inclusion of two great games make it an easy choice for families looking for a great value this holiday season”.
