Nintendo 3DS gamers may be delighted to hear that Dragon Quest VII, a game for the old PlayStation 1, is to be coming onto their platform next year. Square Enix announced the news through a Japanese teaser site.

It listed Dragon Quest VII down for a Japanese release on February 7th, 2013. This version will be developed by DQ games, and will be renamed to Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden. It should show a great similarity to the 2001-released predecessor.

Outside of Japan, no release date has been heard of. However, it is highly possible that an international outing can be made, with more information soon.
