They are starting to seem like little pests, the kind that even when facing extermination, they keep on fighting. These little annoyances are the casual gaming audience and their persistent money spending. While Nintendo is rolling in the dough over a bunch of mini games developed years ago, hard working developers are trying to make ends meet. Come on Nintendo, can’t you cut them some slack? Keep your minions at bay for a few weeks?

Toyota is promoting their dual view entertainment center that is available for their 2010 Toyota Sienna by showcasing a father playing Wii while his infant daughter is washing his car. A funny scene indeed, but not nearly as funny as it’s going to be after we hear about the first lawsuit being filed after a flung wii remote causes a ten car pile up. I promise you that sounded much less gruesome in my head, maybe I should have kept that one to myself. You can find the video below. More »

From Girlybubble: I accepted my invite to the Hello Kitty Party for Nintendo DS by buckling down and getting myself my own copy to play. Hello Kitty is to cake as Jinra is to fat kid. After playing the game in its entirety, I’ve concluded that while it’s unbelievably cute and all kinds of adorbz, I’m probably too old to be partying with Hello Kitty. More »
Sorry PS3 and Xbox bound hockey fans you won’t be able to get your gloved mitts on NHL 2K11 any time soon. Take-Two Entertainment has made the odd decision not to release NHL 2K11 outside of the Nintendo Wii. The developer has decided to take the year off from the other two consoles in order to focus their efforts on the multi-platform NHL 2K12. This doesn’t quite add up to me. And is the Wii really the system developers are going to for sports titles now? Really? More »
If playing the newly released Megaman 10 through as Megaman and Protoman wasn’t enough for you, or if you are just tired of the same old protagonists, Capcom has an answer. As of today, a new character is available for download for only 200 Wii points. Who could it be? More »
Megaman holds a dear place in my heart. I remember renting Megaman 2 for NES, and in order to just keep the game 3 days longer, my 6 year old self attempted to fool my mom into returning Snakes Rattle and Roll instead of my favorite robot killer. Even though my plan failed miserably, the memory lives on. With the resurgence of old school gaming possibilities on the Wiiware, Xbox live Arcade, and Playstation Network, us gamers can relive those classic game types in all new games released by the major developers who sparked it all. 3D is the latest craze. Movies, TVs… everything is in 3D lately. Including the Nintendo DSi. Out on March 3rd, Rittai Kakushi e Attakoreda (Hidden 3D Image: There It Is!) is a game that uses the DSi’s camera to determine the player’s position… and changes the scene accordingly. By moving your head or tilting the DS, you are given a different view of the scene in front of you. The effect feels like you’re looking into your DS. According to Boing Boing, the game will only be available for download in Japan, but maybe more games will follow will let the rest of the world get in on the fun.

Earlier this week we heard reports from PopCap Games celebrating the fact that its wildly popular Plants vs. Zombies had made $1 million in sales during its first week on Apple’s App Store. Quite the accomplishment, but it didn’t stay on top of the Top Grossing section for long. In under a week’s time Square-Enix’s Final Fantasy port has risen above Plants vs. Zombies for the #1 spot.
