I am so jealous. While everyone is hacking away in Pulse, learning about all the intricacies of the new Final Fantasy XIII, I am playing iphone games and trying to finish Dragon Age:Origins. Though usually these shows would be cheesy and references to funny nerdy things would be grueling, this show actually pulls it off surprisingly well. These boys are brilliant. Who wants to stand at a kiosk in a store and play video games for long period’s of time? No one? Well that is exactly the reason why retail stores don’t set up comfy couches and chairs in front of the game stands that usually have full running versions of new titles customers can try out. They don’t want you to sit in front of their TV and play the game, they want you to play the game until you get tired of standing and then buy the game and go home where you can sit and play in peace. They are starting to seem like little pests, the kind that even when facing extermination, they keep on fighting. These little annoyances are the casual gaming audience and their persistent money spending. While Nintendo is rolling in the dough over a bunch of mini games developed years ago, hard working developers are trying to make ends meet. Come on Nintendo, can’t you cut them some slack? Keep your minions at bay for a few weeks?
