So I stumbled across a pretty peculiar blog the other day. It is called Old Grandma Hardcore, and it chronicles the exploits of an old lady with a foul mouth and love for video games. If you are like me, you finished Alan Wake on May 20th, two days after release. The game was epic, and though it hid many of its answers in that darkness tornado never to be seen by the player, the entire experience was still ultimately fulfilling. With that said, two days with a game that usually lasts over a month at the least is harsh. I came to a point where I figured I would sell it off, but only having it two days and taking quite a hit in terms of price really made me uneasy. I decided to shelf it and wait for the DLC that could be coming out before letting go of my prized possession. Thankfully I now know when that date is. More »
