It has been reported that from its release back in May, the game Dragon’s Dogma has significantly exceeded 1 million sales of units. Coincidentally, Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City has only sold 450,000 in the same time. More »

According to an article on Minpokyo, an unnamed young female that had joined Capcom in 2009 was assigned to one of the largest development projects at the time, Dragon’s Dogma. Capcom has released new screenshots for Dragon’s Dogma, a new IP from their studios. The game looks like it’s from a medieval world and gives off a bit of an Oblivion vibe. Capcom announced the first game of a new franchise– Dragon’s Dogma. Capcom first revealed the game as “DD” and teased it with a site featuring a countdown and the logo glowing in the background. Recently at Captivate 2011, their annual event, they put out two trailers for it. Not much is revealed about the story except that you’ll be in a party of three trying to hunt down some dragon. If you’ve already looked through the issue of the week for Japanese magazine Famitsu, you may have been disappointed to not see anything to tell your buds about. But the one thing that caught many eyes was the section of “coming next week.” According to 1Up.com, “the things it touts is coverage of six Capcom games, including Street Figher x Tekken, Asura’s Wrath, the 3DS Resident Evil games, RE: Operation Raccoon City, and…something new and unannounced,” which only leaves us even more curious.
