According to an article on Minpokyo, an unnamed young female that had joined Capcom in 2009 was assigned to one of the largest development projects at the time, Dragon’s Dogma. A new gameplay trailer has emerged for Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma. It’s gameplay appears similar to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Trinity:Souls of Zill O’ll. In fact, it looks like the v2.0 of Trinity with a lot of improvement. The trailer shows a bit of a griffon battle, and I have to say, it looks really action-packed. More »
Last time, a new batch of griffon screenshots were released from Capcom. Now, they’ve released a new batch of screens for a Hydra battle and a goblin battle. It looks pretty sweet and the monsters look impressive. I still think the game reminds me too much of Demon’s Soul and Oblivion, but the medieval theme seems to raging rampant in Japan. More »
Capcom has released new screenshots for Dragon’s Dogma, a new IP from their studios. The game looks like it’s from a medieval world and gives off a bit of an Oblivion vibe. The screenshots show a griffin battle scene. However, the rendering is spectacular. Just look at the griffon– you could see the individual feathers and strands in the feathers! More »
Capcom announced the first game of a new franchise– Dragon’s Dogma. Capcom first revealed the game as “DD” and teased it with a site featuring a countdown and the logo glowing in the background. Recently at Captivate 2011, their annual event, they put out two trailers for it. Not much is revealed about the story except that you’ll be in a party of three trying to hunt down some dragon. If you’ve already looked through the issue of the week for Japanese magazine Famitsu, you may have been disappointed to not see anything to tell your buds about. But the one thing that caught many eyes was the section of “coming next week.” According to 1Up.com, “the things it touts is coverage of six Capcom games, including Street Figher x Tekken, Asura’s Wrath, the 3DS Resident Evil games, RE: Operation Raccoon City, and…something new and unannounced,” which only leaves us even more curious.
