Video games, in my opinion, are meant to transport you to another place—especially in the case of role-playing games (my favorite genre)—and this is usually achieved through the creation of the game universe. However, while exploring a new, fantastical world, the truths about reality become all the more apparent, I have found. More »
Every game has its own theme song, and most of them are extremely well made, and others can be a disappointment. I’ve put together 10 of my favorite all-time video game soundtracks which I think really can be called a piece of art. These pieces of music are emotional I think, which is important to the games story line and it makes us feel more attached to the characters we are playing along side or playing as. I’m sure we all have fallen in love with some of the music from our favorite games. More »

I don’t know about you guys but I have had a problem with Final Fantasy ever since they released the ninth installment in their series. It seems like, since that moment, Final Fantasy has been rapidly declining in it’s challenge factor. The seventh and eighth games in the series were both pretty challenging in their own aspect and strategy was used a lot more often in order to progress and be victorious. The ninth game had a really challenging Final Boss but it seemed to be a bit easier than it’s previous brethren. The tenth title and Final Fantasy X-2 were both really simplistic in terms of challenge and the release of Final Fantasy XII was no different. So we are left with the biggest question, is Final Fantasy XIII going to follow suit? More »
