Dungeon Defenders: First Wave is the lovechild of a tower defense and co-op online action RPG game. Miriel the Magical Merchant is back at it again with Miriel’s Enchanted Mystery (MEM). Having previously fallen in love with one-of-a-kind magic-themed time management game, we just had to have a go at the sequel to Miriel the Magical Merchant. This time in MEM, Miriel spends her time traversing the countryside with her grandmother to uncover the mystery of the ‘enchanted egg.’ Fear not — this review will not uncover the mystery. When I first got my iPad, the genre I was most excited to play games from was RTS. EA’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert was amongst the very first games I bought and although I thought it was an decent adaption at the time, it doesn’t hold a candle to Land Air Sea Warfare HD. Amazingly enough, Robo Dude is the first brick breaker game I’ve played on the iPad. Never being a huge fan of the genre. I was pleasantly surprised with how much fun tilting a 9.7” screen around could be. The HD resolution and pretty colors were an additional bonus. More »


In an App Store cluttered with Tower Defense games Starfall HD shines through and proves that the genre still has some fight left in it. Digital Concepts really aimed for the stars with this one and delivered on its promise to, “nail every aspect of game design: gameplay, visuals and animation, simplicity, depth, online features, sound and design.” More »

A-maze Photo Explore: World Tour is a photo mismatching game like the ones commonly found in kids’ magazines. Two seemingly identical photos are placed on screen side by side and you must search out everything that is different between the two.
