What’s a We Farm without a School House, Sheriff’s Office or Root Beer Brewery? Just a farm you say? Well, you’re probably right. It seems like ngmoco is expanding on the idea of a We Farm to include mainstream items. Are they worth adding to your farm? Read on. More »

This weekend saw the addition of a Meteor Site to We Farm. The Meteor Site is quite a nice addition for XP earning. Read on for more details More »

According to my recent We Farm observations, it appears that there’s a new addition — the Observatory. Looking at the stats and specs of the Observatory, all I have to say is: Oh, my stars! More »

This week’s latest We Farm additions are very car-centric; an auto body shop, diner and Drive In. All of them are proving to be very decent additions. How decent? Read on for details and specs: More »

After introducing myself to the world of casual resource management through Goldfinger a few months back, I’ve been itching to play something with a little more depth. I am a man after all, sunshine and storm clouds couldn’t possibly keep my interest for too long. I need hardcore level grinding, bloody warfare, and lots and lots of quests. CastleCraft fulfills my wishes by bringing MMO elements to the table. More »

After announcing the We Rule sale, ngmoco couldn’t leave We Farm players hanging this Labor Day Weekend. Now available to build are Birds of Prey (Eagles and Falcons!) and a Crop Duster (farm hangar). Read on for the details: More »

It’s safe to say we’re big fans of We Farm here on Wirebot. We’ve been having fun playing it with our users and now we want to see who has the best looking farm! If you got great looking goats, we want to see it. If your farm has an awesome irrigation system, you need to show us. If you have more fruit stands than friends, this contest will change your life (or at least get you some iTune gift cards)! Read on for the full details. More »

After playing a couple more weeks and talking to more people, I’m realizing that there’s a lot of strategy in leveling up on We Farm. Granted, We Farm is far from Starcraft II, but it does represent one component of strategy games - resource management and base development. Instead of Vespene Gas and minerals, you have gold and exp and instead of bases you have farms - same difference right? These two things allow you to build businesses that will earn you residual money/exp and gain levels which gives you access to bigger and better things. In the early and middle stages of We Farm, these resources are equally important. More »

This week in the world of We Farm is turning out to be more excitement-filled than I thought. First it was the free Gro and level 3-available Unicorn Meadows on We Rule. Now as of today, the addition of a BBQ Picnic is available for 2600 gold at level 7. It’s also been announced that new animals will arrive on Friday. More »

As if I wasn’t already hooked enough to We Farm, ngmoco has added a bait shop building and a blackberry bush. It’s the random additions to We Farm that keeps the game with no objective going. Read on for all the details of the new items. More »

Keep reading only if you want to hear a grown man express his love for a game that he thought would never interest him. I mean it’s about to get gushy. Like real romantic and all. Alright, fine, go ahead and keep reading. More »

How do I level quickly in We Farm? I’ve been getting that question a lot since I started the Let’s Play: We Farm movement here on Wirebot. There aren’t many useful guides right now on the interweb so I’ve put together some good tips found from myself and other Wirebot users. Read on my lost friends, read on: More »

I downloaded the We Farm app for the iPad earlier this week and have been “playing it” in between work. Those that have been on Farmville via Facebook will understand why I added the quotation mark. We Farm isn’t so much a game as it is a platform for social activities. This lead me to think it would be kinda cool if we can get users of Wirebot / Mixr Media to “play” this game together. If any of you readers own an iPhone, iTouch, or an iPad, this app is free so download it and add me! My username is hpoeng. Then just let everyone know who you are by posting a comment with your username in the game. More »
