From Ziggytek: NPD reports that for the first time in several years, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 has earned first place in the monthly gaming console sales rankings. The 360 moved 422,000 units. Meanwhile, over in Japan, Sony’s PSP go continues to be a disaster, with 3-month sales totals of only 17,618 handhelds. More »

Costing $14.95 for a monthly subscription and additional charges for game rentals and purchases, OnLive will have big titles such as Borderlands, Assassin’s Creed, Prince of Persia, and Mass Effect 2. Square-Enix is reporting that 5 million copies of Final Fantasy XIII have been shipped around the world. 2 million were dedicated to Japan, while the remaining 3 million were shipped to other countries around the world. Rock Band Network has officially launched on the Xbox 360. The first wave of content brings 105 new songs from a wide range of artists, including Flogging Molly, KMFMDM, The Hold Steady, and Stroke 9.
