Destructoid dug up a really pathetic and quite funny internet petition regarding the new Sonic 4 game that is coming out on the Xbox Marketplace. The protesters, like most internet nerds with too much time on their hands, are claiming that the new Sonic game is going to just be a HD version of Sonic Rush and not a true sequel to the original Sonic series. Give me a break. More »

Sometimes after playing a game I sit and wonder to myself, how did they come up with that? For once I think I know how. They took a couple of their favorite games, Chess and Lemmings, along with their favorite films, The Matrix and WarGames, poured them into a blender with a fifth of Sangria which they then drank while consuming fistfuls of magic mushrooms. Yeah, that’s what Darwinia+ is like. More »
I’ve been waiting for a new, fantastic 2D Sonic game for quite some time. Sure, you can count Sonic Rush in there if you want — but personally I prefer my hedgehog on giant screens that aren’t so much a strain on my eyes. More »

It’s probably boring to you now, knowing all the nooks and crannies of every level, all the secrets and best places to camp. You know what you need? Some Map Packs! Instant Messaging, Networking, and a host of ways for the billions of people on the face of this earth to connect; but face to face socialization and the impact that our new ways of communicating with one another have been the topic of debate for quite some time now.
I’ve spent some time tossing some thoughts around my head and after reading a few articles, I figured I’d give this debate a shot from my own barrel.
When you’re playing on Xbox Live and you hear that grating voice yelling at you to “drop the sniper you noob”, what tends to happen? You either A) argue or B) just mute the kid. More »

Bayonetta doesn’t release until next month (January 2010) but Xbox Live had a free demo available for download, and since I can’t get enough of free junk in my life, I totally had to download it. I’ll admit, when I got it I had NO CLUE what it was and I hadn’t been following the “news” and wasn’t “in the know” with the game, the developers, or what it was even about. For those of you who haven’t played the game at all I’ll give you a little rundown and explain why the world of Bayonetta is just plain…odd. More »
